The KEF Q250C is equipped with a Uni-Q driver array. With pioneering innovation, KEF has placed the tweeter in the centre of the acoustic of the midrange cone to bring the acoustic ideal of a single point source very close. This results in more detailed and accurate three-dimensional sound images and disperses the sound evenly as compared to a conventional speaker. This ultra-wide dispersion is then enhanced by KEF’s ‘tangerine’ waveguide over tweeter dome which ultimately results in clearer and more accurate sound faithful to the original sound.

The design of the cabinet is closed box midrange; it reduces the load on the Uni-Q midrange cone and increases the clarity and detail which results in clearer and punchier bass. Added with is a damped tweeter loading tube which provides a gentle termination of sound that the back of the tweeter produces. The Q250C gives improved lower treble performance dramatically. Improved low distortion inductor on the crossover provides a cleaner bass response.

The KEF Q Series Q250C has low frequency (LF) that comes with larger roll surround and a new spider suspension which produces clean bass at amazingly high volumes. The new cone structure efficiently improves midrange clarity and the enhanced Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABRs) that is updated with surround and rear suspensions combine to deliver far better controlled and impressive bass.

The KEF Q250C is available in black or white and offers a smaller alternative to the big Q650C speaker.
