NA UPIT!
The centre speaker delivers most of the narrative aspects of a films soundtrack in a surround sound system, so it has to be up to the job. The KEF Q200c is a compact, 3-way, speaker with performance beyond its modest size. Fitted with one of KEF's point source Uni-Q drivers it delivers a generous and full performance. Mid and high frequency sound is handled by a Uni-Q driver with a 130mm bass/mid-range driver and a 25mm aluminium dome tweeter with 'tangerine' waveguide, whilst there is a 130mm bass driver and a 130mm auxiliary bass radiator for low frequencies.
Other clever features include the link switch for choosing between mono and bi-amping. Turn it clockwise and the two terminals are linked so you can drive the speaker from one source: anti-clockwise and the terminals are split so you can connect the high frequency and low frequency separately.
